Considering we have to pass maths GCSE and because it's compulsory (therefore meaning only a percentage of people are actually good at it) surely the exam must be of an achievable standard for everyone. Yeah it was higher, but even as a student who got only Bs and As on previous past papers with no help, I'm convinced I didn't even pass this paper. 28 marks for a C in this paper is bullshit because I'm sure most people didn't get this. Either make the calcutor super easy with no hidden Pythagoras or trigonometry to assure at least a good 6 marks or lower the damn grade boundaries. we're G!!C!!S!!E!! students not bloody a l-level, get your head out of your asses edexcel not everyone can do level a* maths !!

it's not fair that so much of the stuff we revised and worked so hard at wasn't even on the paper, let alone that we had to answer questions where I couldn't even understand the english, never mind the maths. it's a hard enough subject without that exam!

I believe that the grade boundaries should be lowered due to the hardness of the paper. The majority of the questions have been seen as extremely difficult even by A* students. We'd all very much appreciate this.
