The questions in previous exam questions that we are pushed to revise and practice from all follow a similar structure and tested a range of maths abilities. This paper, however, was one which no-one was prepared for. The grade boundaries should be lowered as the questions aimed to test candidates of higher ability were unfair on the vast majority.
