Some of the questions in the paper deserved more time and were at a higher level than the students were capable of doing

Found the questions really difficult and I did so many past papers I was surprised I found it hard. I spent too long trying to attempt the questions which meant that I ran out of time and wasn't able to answer some of the other questions. If the exam was structured like the other past exams, I would have been able to finish the exam and answer the questions to the best of my ability.

Are maths teacher has a degree in maths and it took her 15 minutes to do the cylinder question plus help from the Internet

The maths paper was rough to say the least....

thanks to that awful exam paper I was sleep deprived last night as I only slept for 3 hours and I have a very important biology exam today ((I want to take biology a level)) and all I can think about is how badly I've done. it is disgusting that we must go through mental instability over a GCSE exam that is meant to be fairly easy for all students to get their much needed C grade. even my maths teacher said she never taught such questions despite being in education for 30 years. sort it out edexcel, I didn't have to stay up until 1am doing your past papers and scoring As only for you to fuck up my chances this time.

Why is it 200k now ?

Its not only the ridiculously hard questions on the maths paper thats bugging me, such as the "n2-n-90=0" or the one about grain seed. But the fact i revised hours and hours and no matter how much i done i wouldn't have been prepared for them questions. Also i know its a different exam board but aqa are also taking libertys, one of my questions was "how does steinbeck present the brutalitys of life in a ranch, during the time the novel was set?" Again i wasted about ten minutes trying to think of something to say for this. So its not only edexcel but i think that all exam boards should lower their grade boundaries due to their stupidity in creating the questions that even adults find difficult.

I feel strongly on this point as I can not believe how one of the easiest maths exams last year can be followed by the hardest exam to date. Lets hope the trend of edexcel exam being extremely hard does not continue in all other subjects.

You're complaining about lack of employment, yet grade boundries and harder questions are stopping everyone. Peopl complain avout our generation yet you make it harder for us
