Lower grade boundaries are needed, it was sooooo hard

personally I thoroughly revised, however due to the maths exam paper I have previously sat I hardly have the hope that I will pass!

Half of the paper were questions which we have NEVER seen on a past paper before which we've obviously used to revise off and you say that the paper was made to "test a wide range of abilities" but how's that going to work when if we've all been taught the same syllabus in school none of us have been taught anything to do with how probability of sweets relates in any way to n2-n-90=0 what even is that?! And don't even get me started on Karl and his charity or how fast Raksha is driving. It was a ridiculously hard paper therefore it wouldn't be fair to keep the same grade boundaries as previous years because we're quite clearly going to do a lot worse compared to years who took the exam before us!! I'm predicted an A in maths and have got that on every single mock I've done but thanks to you and your shitty paper this year I didn't even get a B according to the answers which have been leaked. How is that fair that we are going to be up against people a year older than us in job opportunities and even though we might be the same ability as them in maths or even better we are made to look worse. A level students have clarified that a lot of that paper was filled with A Level questions, which since we are GCSE students we have NEVER LEARNT YET! And thanks to you I need to get full marks on the calculator paper to achieve my predicted grade, which evidently won't happen especially if it's as bad as the non calculator paper! So shoutout to edexcel for messing up my future

I was so shocked and confused with some questions all of my hard work towards maths went down the drain due to hanna and her sweets

Maths exam was too hard

Ridiculously hard, unfair, setting students up to fail

First half was easy, however the last 4/5 questions we had not been taught!!!

The exam was harder than it should of been and it isn't fair that we have the marks scheme the way it is now

This was such a hard exam it's only fair if this happens!!
