i believe the grade boundaries should be lowered and the examiners should take in consideration that the exam was tough

I find the first exam was awfully unfair as I reckon a majority of the questions were incredibly tricky and the exam went straight into higher level questions

For those people who have done nothing but hard- core revision for the exam, It's a big shame that all that hard- work to achieve an A (in my case) has been undermined by the shockingly difficult exam. For those who have an ability to achieve a B or an A or an A*, or quite frankly to achieve an inproved grade than their previous, the exam did not present the skills for this and that hard work and ability has clearly been distorted by the Edexcel maths exam. Low grade boundaries should compromise for the difficult exam, no doubt about it.
