If the question had been to solve the equation it would be a different matter but why does it need to be proven which is redisculously difficult to do at such a low level amid learning such as GCSE

The maths exams was VERY hard and grade boundaries should be lowered!! It was unfair on our year (year 11)

I'm 95% sure that if Edexcel don't lower the grade boundaries, schools will move away from Edexcel and choose a different exam board for Maths.
