I feel that one particular question asked on my daughters maths paper was unfairly difficult and inappropriate for a GCSE paper possibly an A Level question!

The paper was too difficult, even with extra time I was not able to complete it as I spent more time on too many questions which I felt had an impossible answer, Practicing all those papers when revising, it was not what I was expecting. It is Vital I get a satisfying grade especially with the work that I have put in. Maths is one of the most important subjects accompanied with English, this year I felt the paper was a mockery.

From a person who usually gets A's in maths mocks, I'm pretty sure I just about scraped a B in the non calc paper.

I have done this exam and feel that its the hardest exam I have ever done. The questions asked were not for young teenagers but it felt like it was for older students studying maths.
This is why I believe the grade boundaries in this exam should be lowered.

Thought the paper was extremely harsh on the students by the way it was worded and by the fact that there were questions on there which should be on the calculator paper. Hardest one that has been over the years and its ridiculous how they expect us to get high grades with questions like that, some may feel like they haven't even got a pass. Think it's silly.. Do they not want us to pass???
