I took this exam and I'm suppose to be an A-A* student thanks to two of the extreamly high mark questions of the cone bin and Hannah's sweets looks like I'll be barely scraping my A. I want to take Maths at college and this exam has blown my chances thanks to some of the questions being A level standards and not GCSE..next time they should try using questions that we have covered in the syllabus as I found my FSMQ Maths paper this year easier than the GCSE Maths one..FSMQ is an AS level equivalent for school students.

Yes, of course. The world is getting smarter and Edexcel wants to test our wonderful abilities. But not to the extent where my brain feels mush and destroyed! We're only children. :(

i am a student who has struggled to grasp maths but always tried my best at it especially during revision leading up to the exam, they exam was going to be difficult enough for me to pass even without the A-Level style questions. Edexcell need to stick to a criteria of questions that gives all students the best opportunity they can to achieve the highest possible grade.

That test was unfair we haven't be taught the methods at such a difficult level so we were unable todo the question, some of the questions we hadn't even been taught?!

Unbelievable! I have been practicing GCSE maths past papers for what?
To receive a maths exam that contains A level based questions, are you serious?
