THE WAY I FELT AFTER THIS EXAM MADE ME WANT TO JUST GIVE UP ON PAPER TWO AND NOT EVEN TRY IT WAS HARD AND I WAS SO SAD OK.

On the past papers I did I was scoring above 85 out of 100. This paper was ridiculous and asked questions which were far too difficult

As an A/A* candidate, I feel like this exam was particularly difficult towards the end 3rd of the paper. Now I understand why I struggled as some content was A level!! Come on Edexcel show us a little mercy!

It was ridiculous... They used wording which made it so hard! We all worked so hard as maths is a compulsory GCSE and did so much revision and then they throw something ridiculously hard at us

The phrasing of this question was confusing and such difficult questions make it twice as hard for mathematically stunted students. As someone who is able to reach B grades in maths, although I'm not claiming to be a genius, I hate to say that I struggled with far too many questions on this paper and felt it would be especially upsetting for people who have tried their hardest to scrape C's.

I am a student in year 11 who has a passion for maths! I am also very good at the subject getting constant A/A*'s on past exams! I struggled with a fair few of the questions such as n^2-n-90=0 and proving algebraically that x=0.454545 is the same as 1/22? I wouldn't have expected these type of questions on this level paper! I would like for the grade boundaries to be lowered as I am expected a grade A* and with the exam paper being so unbelievably difficult it is highly unlikely I would come close and I need these grades to do my chosen ALevels and carry out my chosen career which I have dreamed about ever since I was young! I think that the paper was disgraceful and its a real shame edexcel have fallen so low this year!

It was extremely difficult, and was not like the previous mock exams that I have done, as most of this paper was ridiculously impossible to do!! I feel like my whole life of doing maths, to get my gcse was just pointless!!

i would really appreciate if the grade boundaries could be lowered due to the level of difficulty of most of the questions including the "orange sweets" question.
