In my last mock I got a b and whilst sat doing this paper I could not understand half of the paper it was extremely hard and I don't believe some of these questions should have been in a GCSE paper.

That question was ridiculous, should lower grade boundaries by how many marks that question was worth.

I did the higher paper and I spend 20 minutes on the question about sweets and I just left it. I couldn't do it, it was way too hard!

The test was absolutely ridiculous. From Q1-Q15, everything was just fine, maybe some silly mistakes here and there. From Q16, the escalation of difficulty has risen very quickly - in the blink of an eye, "Hannah's sweets" question comes up and that was where I lost my confidence. If we reach 200,00 it will be a miracle to all of us! I hope at least 80+ is an A*....

The question 'n2-n-90=0' had no reliance to Hannah selecting and eating the sweets at random. This made the question paper look unfair! Papers from previous years were considerably easier. The first section of the paper was like any you would find in a normal paper, however the second half has the paper going was downhilll, proving almost impossible to do for most students.

It was a ridiculously hard paper, there were loads of 5 mark questions so if you didn't know a topic you automatically lost nearly half a grade from not doing one question.

I think The Exam board were very wrong to give this paper to Students.Half of the contents hadn,t even been taught in class. The Grade Boundaries should either be lowered or another paper quickly given out to give these students a fair chance.

I personally took part in the GCSE maths exam this year, I recieved a B grade in my January PPE exam, but barely think I even scraped a C in this exam... Ridiculously hard.
