GRADE BOUNDARY SHOULD BE LOWERED ! Questions were nothing like those in past papers and was very hard

I honestly did months and months of preparations,i was so well prepared and it didnt go aswell as i thought!
I believe in lower grade boundries as it was such a difficult paper

I had never been taught hardly anything on the edexcel exam and found it really hard.

The students doing this years edexecel maths are not usually those you'd be expecting to get n^2-n-90=0 right. It wasn't just that either, other questions later in the paper completely stumped people like me who have gotten A*'s in the past on past papers. I really agree that the grade boundaries should be brought down even a little to the point where it's fair to the students who find maths on it's own hard, let alone this.

If you're going to give us questions we've learnt on your specification, at least put it into context and not jumble it up into unrealistic scenarios??? How does that test our ability and where's the application for the future?

My daughter came out saying last 2 questions where soooo difficult she couldn't understand them!
