Absolutely absurd, how they expect the majority of students to work the questions out in the little time frame they had when the grade boundaries are already hard to get for some people and then they throw curve balls like this in. I think it's ridiculous and should have taken into consideration the variation of students completing this paper and the pressure and time frame we had to complete it in. I'm an A grade student and this proved a difficult paper nearing the end. If I don't get a B I cannot do maths for a-levels and then career changes would need to be made. Sort it out edexcel

By far the most challenging exam for higher tier, especially for myself who made a resit transition from foundation

I have worked extremely hard towards maths, throughout my whole school life and would consider maths one of my strengths, however the exam was absolutely appalling.

I've been revising all the past papers and I understood nothing on that bloody test... some fresh A-level nonsense!? No-one was expecting that.
