With the new law that students have to retake their maths GCSE exam if they don't get a C, its appalling to know that Edexcel thinks its okay to place A level questions in our paper. This years paper has already left students feeling hopeless for their future careers, as like many we could be limited by our choices at college and so forth if we do not achieve a C grade. I really hope that Edexcel lowers the boundaries so that students like me aren't limited at college by what courses they want to do. It would be a shame to see so many students go through the ordeal of redoing their GCSE.

I'm predicted an A, I'm in one of the highest sets in my year, and literally everyone in my set didn't understand what the hell was in that maths exam

The grade boundaries should be lowered how can you expect a GCSE student to answer A level questions? This is putting children at a disadvantage especially those that struggle with Maths in the first place and could prevent them from obtaining the grades they need!

With utermost certainty I strongly believe that the grade boundries for this year's maths paper should be lowered; particularly after setting the complex Hannah's sweet question; amongst some others.

The way certain questions were displayed in the exam paper was cruely designed to confuse exam takers into stressing over questions that, if worded correctly, would otherwise be deemed as possible by students
