Due to sitting this exam I don't find it very fair how hard it was compared to the past papers, all students feel like they failed this paper which can ruin their lives.

At least 50 marks to get a C wouldn't be bad at all.

The paper was A Level standard this year, I have been revising for months for these Maths exams and I got that, the grade boundaries have to be lowered if I have any chance to acheieve my target grade.

Now a 50 yr old woman working in business and having found it hard to grasp maths at a young age, it seems that experiences like these students had, only distance them from finding a rapport with maths. In particularly girls are inclinded to stamp themselves as not being good at maths. It is my intention to open an academy for young people to explain and make them feel comfortable dealing with figures and how maths relate to everyday topics. Please be kind and reduce the expectations when correcting the maths paper, so that these students do not relate to Maths in the future with a pain in their stomach. These are the students that, even if they don't pursue an academic career are responsible for making decisions such a buying house, spending money and with that have a direct influence on the British economy.
