I prepared myself for a Bio Unit 1 exam then I end up doing another Maths/Statistics paper? Also, why were B2 topics in a B1 exam? AQA, fix up.

This exam did not reflect the specification at all. The main topics that we as a country spent revising for weeks on end did not even turn up in the exam. It only reflected maths skills and a select few topics in the specification. I believe it was unfair on us because it was so dissimilar to any of the other past papers.

Too hard and I believe its going to be very difficult for children to achieve their target grades with the boundaries being so high

Too much focus on maths at the start of the exam- it should have started with questions about Biology.

I don't understand why they make teenagers revise subjects that do not hardly even come up on the exam. the curriculum needs to prepare them and teach the right material that is in the exam

Where were Lamarck and Darwin, biomass, reflex arc????

The test was quite difficult and I feel the grade boundaries should be lowered as looking on past papers the questions were easier also Darwin and Lamarcks theories did not come up and many students spent weeks revising for it using hours upon hours studying natrual selection
