Agree with the liver question- this was never taught in the core programme of the higher paper students. It's an advance science question and should not have put in there.

i believe the very last question involved the job of a liver cell. I was never taught about it and i looked through all of B1 of the most recent AQA biology text book and never found anything about the actions of liver cells. I did however find the actions of cells and teh actions of organs in the digestive system in the B2.1 chapter of the book. I feel almost cheated knowing that parts of B2 are pssoibly in a B1 test.

I completely agree that we should lower the grade boundaries, we revised the necessary topics and found they were unnecessary, this is not right.

This test paper gave an advantage to the students who hadn't revised as it was just full of logic.
It also annoys me how it was full of maths questions. What if your not good at maths? Does that mean that you fail science as well as maths? I even had to constantly look at the cover of the test paper to remind myself what subject it was.
