I sat the Higher Biology AQA GCSE exam on Friday and some of the questions we had not learnt and furthermore, were not even in the GCP GCSE core science AQA A Revision Guide, Higher level booklet. For example, the final question was on parts of the liver. Never had I been taught that there was even anything else to the liver than the one whole liver itself. I was by then, COMPLETELY thrown off and did not think this was fair as no-one had been taught it in school or had any intention to learn it because it was not in the guides we were given and told that EVERYTHING we need to know would be in that revision guide. There were a few other questions that me and my friends spoke about not knowing what they were about also but I cannot remember them off the top of my head. I am not happy with this at all and would like the grade boundaries lowered.

I am so upset, David Cameron and all these politicians who think they should control the education system and the syllables and how hard exams are, are stupid because they all went to private/grammar schools so they think everyone has the same ability as them, but no , not everyone has the money and facilities that upper class people can have to breeze through exams, AQA better lower the grade boundaries because I need at least a B

The exam barely contained anything from B1. There were too many irrelevant, maths/B2 based questions that shouldn't have came up. It's not fair on the people, like me, who have been revising for so long to endure a crap exam, that didnt involve anything from any topics. ......

About 20% of that test were parts that i actually revised for, the rest were completely irrelevent and had nothing to do with what anyone revised, you couldnt show of your knowledge here. Also a lot of this paper was b2, very disapointed !!!!

I don't think that it's fair that maths questions that haven't been taught in the syllabus and mentioned in the specification are in the exam. Exams that determine our future. Exams that make or break our lives! I believe that it's unacceptable

That ang.... Fish... ERM... Why did the amount of birds change? How do I know? It wasn't phrased hard just didn't really relate to the aqa revision books (which were supposed to contain all the answers)
