Seriously, the biology was so hard I felt like crying.

This was my first official exam (not counting controlled assessments) and it has completely demotivated me to revise for my GCSE exams next year as the syllabus I spent hours revising didn't even come up on the b1 exam:((

I suppose the Exam was about testing your ability of being able solve a complicated situation by using your Science and Maths skills (Science does involve Maths, in case you don't know)...think about Scientists.

A completely unfair exam which will not reflect our true abilities.

It was a very maths based paper - maths and biology are completely different, you wouldn't put a maths question in an English paper would you? It's the same scenario and people are therefore loosing marks for inadequate knowledge of a completely different subject. Furthermore, questions came up that weren't even made clear in the specification (or in some cases weren't mentioned at all) such as 'Where in the liver cell is reductase produced' or 'what are steroids used for' or 'what is thalidomide used for today'.....the grade boundaries need to be lowered, but not only this, but the exam board needs to stop bringing in completely irrelevant and mathematical based questions...simply unfair on all those who do not have those abilities.
LOWER!!
