Traffic petition- Lower Parel & Mahalakshmi

Request to ensure that both lanes on either sides of HP PETROL PUMP on Delisle Rd are free from parked vehicles ( inspite of being no parking area - always many vehicles are parked adding to congestion) Also pvt buses are parked and start from these lanes adding to nuisance and traffic congestion.

Parel has become an island.we cannot plan to go out also restaurants refuse to deliver food..a festival should only bring joy not misery.

The traffic police in my opinion at senapati bapat marg and e moses Junction make the traffic worse rather than having lights do their job. The left turn from sb marg to e moses rd should always be on and the straight thru traffic should be in extreme 2 right lane only . also mahalaxmi station right turn from saat rasta to e moses rd should not be there so straight through traffic is always allowed . These are the two signals with the bottlenecks

Urgently need a solution to this issue

I am a resident of Ashok Gardens and the traffic situation is getting worst by the day. The conditions are unlivable.

This area has become a nightmare traffic wise and other civic facilities not sufficient either

I agree with all the points mentioned. It's a disaster situation right now, till the lower parel bridge is closed, opening the right turn to go towards saat rasta will definitely help.

Agree with all the points. I'm a resident at Falcons crest building in Parel. Travel to and fro BKC and airport back home has become a menace. Tulsi pipe road, Elphinstone signal near indiabulls finance centre is a nightmare. One cannot even take the sea link from airport /BKC to Patel because of the above crossing

Very urgent steps need to be taken to resolve the traffic issues, failing which, things will get worse with time.

Please clear potholes as well. Traffic will pick up speed.

Severely affected citizen

Ashok Gardens resident, office in sun mill compound. Takes over an hour to commute during festivals for 3 km radius. Hampering work and productivity.

I would also like to mention that the traffic in and around the cng filling stations also needs to be regulated .There is one just before Lodha which also adds to the agony of the already existing traffic problem

Please also come up with a comprehensive traffic management plan including new double decker bridges over the tracks.
