Have been here for nearly 10 years and have never seen any trustees except at the grand re-opening. If you want corporate and people there for their own good., may I suggest that you join the board at the RSPCA and leave the wood as it is. Here for the wildlife not for politics

It's a wildlife hospital not a business for corporate I feel these trustees should do a week in the hospital they may more respect for all involved

Having volunteered at LMW for nearly 12 years I know we can, and have made a difference to the survival of many casualties. I have worked with a dedicated team of voluteers who freely give their time for the charity and its aims. I fully support its continuance under the leadership of Ray who has taught me so much during my time at LMW which enables me to pass onto future volunteers and the next generation.

As a volunteer I would welcome a meeting in order to express my concerns. The rumours that are rumbling round are worrying and in particular I’m very concerned about the effect it’s having on Ray. I get the distinct feeling that someone/some people are trying to erode away the ethos and essence of the Wood. LMW is not a “corporate” animal and frankly I wouldn’t want to be there if it became so…..I escaped all that nonsense when I left Warrington Borough Council. It’s also concerning that first Patrick, then Val and Rachel have all resigned. These are highly valued people with important roles to play. A sad loss for the Wood. So, let’s have an open, transparent meeting and get to the bottom of what’s causing all the unease that many volunteers are feeling.

The ethos of the wood or the past 30+ years is being destroyed by a group of uninterested self edifying people. They have no interest in the wildlife hospital and are treating the whole as a glorified major investment. I spend hours at weekends going out trying to raise money whilst they engage HR companies on a retainer fee of £100 a month to do nothing.
