The style of the paper was so absurd. For the past 10 years, they have given kinematics and equilibria at the start of the paper and all of a sudden, they put pH and well as polymers at the start. These types of questions are much more difficult, as shown in the textbook as they are taught in the middle of the course. There were too many 1-mark questions as well as lot of time was needed to read the questions. It meant that I could not even do the last two questions at the end of the paper.

This paper, was disgusting. For someone who has difficulty processing information and bad anxiety, the unusual structure and data and representation severely affected me.

Extremely sad no nice buffer calculations not even any nice mechanisms, no com Ustinov calculations no terylene, Kevlar or nylon,6,6 or aromatic chemistry with benzene! And section b the last question was extremely hard. The total marks per questions in section B were totally unfair, either you get them or you don't

While I believe most of the content was in the scope of the syllabus, the structure of the Chem 4 exam was so random and frankly odd, comparing it to the textbook and past papers it feels like another exam board.

That was an absurd paper with an entirely disproportionate amount of application.

I agree, this was nothing like the past papers I revised and I really feel like this was way more difficult than the others.
