Don't even know what to say about that exam. Words can't describe what I just sat through.

Found the exam today required much too much application and even the wording of the questions didn't follow the previous structure of past papers. I also found that timing was an issue so I had no time to check answers or complete the 9 mark question on the last page. Despite doing every past paper and learning how AQA wanted you to answer the questions, I felt I couldn't do this paper confidently within the time given.

The time constraints on this exam made many unable to finish, the layout and applications were not similar to any past papers which have been consistent so practice questions did not help in answering. People worked very hard revising the specification and need certain grades to get to uni and their lower marks will not be through lack of preparation but impossible time constraints so being unable to finish and obscure questions which applied content in a way that had not been practiced

Disgusting paper, was nothing like past papers, the setting was not the usual either

A decade of past papers of the same structure and question style, call us crazy but we expected another one? So unfair

This paper was so different from every other past paper, did not test half of the specification and actually went as far as to ask questions that were very vaguely/not at all relayed to the syllabus. My mark will not acknowledge how very hard I had worked for the exam :( I'm so disappointed. Im not saying the questions were impossible to answer as I'm sure there will be people who have done well, just suggesting that it was not a fair test of my knowledge.

Thought the paper was awfully difficult, unecessary in my opinion.

This past paper was nothing like the previous ones. It is not right for an exam board to completely follow a different examination structure. There's a structure they should stick to and everyone that felt 100% prepared couldn't handle it. It's not fair.

Too much time taken up by one markers, could not show full potential, too many application questions with not enough time to properly think them through, every question had a twist to it unlike past papers

I usually get A*s in past papers yet this year couldn't even answer all the questions. It was not based on knowledge and revision was futile because the questions were so unlike anything previously. Usually I have loads of time to check over at the end yet this time I struggled to complete the paper in the time given.
