XXX Lower grade boundaries for CHEMISTRY UNIT 4 2016

I am fascinated in the field of chemistry but there were manny obstacles for me to further my intrest into but the grade boundary made the other obstacles look like a little bump on the road.

This was not the layout I would've expected of ocr b salters paper Some questions were very difficult and the bromine question? What was that about

was way too different and difficult than all the past papers!

The paper was unlike ANYTHING we've done previously.

The exam was too hard compared to previous years, isn't fair considering it's the last year, feels like they're trying to make theblastbyear the hardest so next years new spec results look better

This paper was nothing like all the other past papers. Nothing even was remotely similar

Ridiculously hard- had no easy mark questions and so much content in short period of time

Pathetically difficult with practically no content reflected on past papers

Not to mention 1 markers which were impossible to do when adhering to the roughly 1/1.5 min per mark rule

Could this paper have been any more of a joke! Didn't even get a chance to attempt questions properly

Paper felt like it was designed to catch you out with pedantic details rather than test your actual Chemistry knowledge and understanding

Agreed not fair as the standard needed for an A or A* was more difficult compared to previous years therefore it would be inconsistent if it did not go down

It was the hardest unit 4 paper I have done having done all of them

Lower grade boundaries are needed! We will be competing for uni places with people who did easier exams !
