Disgusting. Never worked so hard for chemistry in my life and it's horrible I have still come out knowing I've failed.

Not a good paper at all. The amount of working needed for some questions were just too excessive! I have definitely done terrible for this paper

The paper did not do me any justice! I usually get As and A*s but i'll be lucky to get a B in this one.

The exam was extremely difficult. I worked so hard to prepare for the exam and was faced with questions I have never come across. The time was very limited and I have become very scared about my university admissions. It was truly unfair

I am a medical student and had worked tirelessly into achieving top grades. In my past papers I had achieved A*s. However, the paper I set yesterday was a far cry from previous past papers set, and did not provide us with a fair chance of showing our capabilities. No One has had the opportunity to practise questions of this caliber, and as a results many people's Uni offers have been jeopardised.

It was a very difficult paper due to the large number of application questions, which were far too time consuming and did not allow thorough completion of the whole exam. I feel that it would have been fine to have one or two application questions, but the fact that these appeared on every single page of the exam was unacceptable. Also, it is not fair that they put a 9 mark NMR question in this paper, given the difficulty of the rest of the exam, since NMR questions are so time consuming and require a lot of thought (which was difficult when it was the final question on an unacceptably challenging paper.) Finally, the stress of answering so many unusual questions will have led to the loss of lots of marks for careless mistakes, since many people would have been worried about finishing the paper in the given time.

This test paper was harder than the majority of all the past papers I practiced so I think it deserves lower grade boundaries

I revised so hard for that exam knowing that calculations weren't my strong point, doing the 2014 paper I got 4 marks off an A* but no amount of revision would have prepared for what was in the June 2016 paper

Extremely unfair and too many applications questions for a 1 hour 45 min exam.

I didn't like the format of the test at all. I need to bring my C in chemistry up to an A and spent so long revising but I don't think that is possible anymore after that disastrous paper.

Exam was completely unfair. It is understandable that some application questions are to be added, but this was beyond application. Having revised from September, I was made to feel like I had no knowledge of chemistry unit 4 during the exam and was continually questioning myself. This can be very distressing for students especially those suffering with anxiety with high hopes on going to university, with yet many more exams to complete.
