This was one of the toughest I have done so far. The past papers that I have done were nothing similar to the one in the actual exam.

Utterly shambolic! This epitomises exactly why the world is becoming a caldron of turmoil; the unreachable expectations for promising chemists like myself. I achieved 98% at chemistry last year and look at me now, signing a petition with outrage at AQA. Thank you

SO UNFAIR! So much revision wasted to be asked barely any specification knowledge! Disappointed AQA.

Disgusting paper, how can AQA expect us to learn an entire syllabus that doesn't even come up in the paper

The questions were vague and the paper in general felt significantly harder than the papers from previous years. There were barely any mechanisms, and the acid/base questions were vastly different to anything asked before. The 9 marker at the end was sneaky, and after tackling the 5 marker beforehand, I (and many others) were pushed for time to answer it.

It was not a true representation of what many knew and was unfair.

After revising endlessly from past papers and averaging high As/low Bs I felt prepared that I could replicate that in this exam... Sadly not. Questions far too advanced compared to what has been asked in the past and now many are unlikely to get the grades they need to get onto future courses, perhaps setting them back a year or so. Very disappointing from AQA.
