Could not have revised any harder for this paper with all the AQA endorsed resources such as the textbook and by completion of all past papers but found the exam to be a complete disgrace and partially unrepresentative of the specification.

Absolutely ridiculous paper! I have never came out of an exam feeling so upset and confused. Months of hard revision has gone to waste , and I have no motivation for any AQA science exams, as they seem to set us up for failure! No way am I getting the grades I need to go to university! So thankyou AQA!

The question arises as to what the primary aims of exams might be, to examine or undermine candidates capacities and the quality of teaching.

Daughter could not have worked any harder and was predicted a high A grade. She left the exam utterly distraught and with the strong possibility that her university plans have been left in tatters, thanks to the ridiculous way in which this exam paper was set. It is a disgrace.

Hopelessly difficult exam. Application questions can not be revised. It makes any exam with a large amount of applied questions a mere lottery. Absolutely disgraceful exam. Lower the grade boundaries.

There was not enough time to answer this paper in the slightest. Far too many application questions which meant no time for the 9 mark question at the end.

lot more difficult than other years, also many content in it were not in the teaching syllabus.

The paper was nothing like the past papers and were unfairly harder than the past papers. It has very few questions on the actual content of Chemistry Unit 4 and mainly had application questions. I had tried all the past papers and did significantly well in them, thus I don't know why Chemistry Unit 4 was so different and hard compared to all the previous papers. It didn't test for most of the content on the specification, just application questions. All of the students in my school found this paper devastating.

This exam was completely unlike any other and this a serious unfair disadvantage to all who took this paper when compared to other years
