This paper was absolutely ridiculous and the difficulty of the paper was incredible. The fact this is an A-level exam, meant I was expecting it to be hard however, there is a significant difference between hard and this paper!!!!

Daughter worked so hard all year was getting 95% on mocks and all past papers. She is distraught and worried about university place. The examining board should be help to account and asked to explain why the questions were structure the way the were.

It is dishearteing to see so many students work so hard and then be handed this blow. It is no wonder so many grow up with so much mistrust in Government backed systems.

Education should be a lifestyle choice, in which we equip children with the skills and desire to learn for life. Discouraging them with ridiculously hard exams, as if to prove a point is detrimental to the goal of educators. Make examinations consistent, fair and practical!

the exam was a shambles.
complete change of structure from previous years, a whole 9 marks at the end, barely half of the course was tested. its not fair. lower the grade boundries. all students have uni offers to make. its our future you are messing with.

You are discouraging students by setting questions out of topic and never taught. Children came home with a sad heart and discouraged. Questions are set not in the best interest of students. It is unfair making exams hard for students. We want students succeed and not drop out.
Lower the grade boundaries for Chemistry Unit 4 2016 / 14 June 2016.

Very hard paper, all the questions felt very unfamiliar, no amount of revision of the specification could have prepared you. I think it's fair that the grade boundaries should be low.

Recently all science papers have been getting increasingly harder. I consistently achieve full UMS in physics past papers and when faced with the new specification it's impossible to get any higher than 85. So I understand what this petition stands for. Its not fair to screw over the classes of 2016 and 2017 simply because the years before us had it easy.
