Look at the amount of markets in Lindon. It's famous for them. Tourists visit, often just for the markets.

Great memories of Dublin Flea. Miss it a lot. Hope they find a new home soon. Best of luck.

I have walked every city I've lived in or visited to find flea markets, they are the soul of authentic places and the treasure troves of authentic people. They are also the ignition of emerging creatives, small artisans and traders. Markets are historic centres, more human in scale than their opposite and alienating shopping centres. They are where we go to hunt out what we love and build relationships with makers place and people. Dublin wants and needs it's markets, it's green spaces, its allottments- to be a city and not a simply a high street.

It is vital that this market returns. It has been hugely missed and is a vital supporter of independent traders, local crafts people and social enterprise. Give the Flea a home again

Save our markets! What a loss to the city’s cultural, social and commercial value.

In a world where we are becoming more disconnected from each other, the flea was one of the few places that cultivated genuine community. One of the first things I/a lot of people would do in a foreign city would be to go to the market, it's very sad that a city as vibrant as Dublin might not have one.

The best thing to happen to Dublin in a long time was the re-emergence of markets. It's a disgrace that they are being pushed out of their venues. Look at the footfall the Dublin Christmas flea gets every year? Does that not say something?

The market is an essential part of city life. Tourists live to visit a flea market and it is an important source of income for the traders who battle against all weathers to be there for their customers

Markets are a great memory from my childhood and I still love them today. It would be so sad to lose them.
