Keep fighting for what is right! The school needs to wake up and see that these kids deserve to be heard. Proud of you all for not backing down.

Sometimes, when doing what is right, you will catch backlash. But if it's right, you should go with it. Whether school administrators like it or not, these are very real issues that face our children today. Whether kids want to self harm because they're LGBTQ or just facing a myriad of other issues that our kids have today, awareness needs to be made. Blessed be to these kids for standing up for what they believe in! I am one proud mom of an eighth-grade kid in the school, and I hope the other kids get to stand up for what they believe in too!

although there are millions of people who disagree to discuss the topic of discrimination against the LGBT community, I wholeheartedly agree that your school should learn more about it and understand what exactly it all is. I wish you all the luck with this project, and I hope you are able to achieve what you set out to do.

I am the mother of soleil and her topic is LGBT : self harm . I believe that these topics should be given more attention in schools for the kids who feel as if they can't speak about it at home. I totally support my child doing these projects, its great that her class is trying to get students and the community more aware of these problems. #supportLGBT
