We were promised a permanent pool since 2018 to be completed in time for the 2020 session. But what we got is no pool for 5 years since the pop-up closed after the summer 2018 session. Nothing has been said about any future plans, as if a promise was never made. BQE is an excuse, not a reason.

So needed

Please keep this pool! It is so wonderful and our family of 5 uses it all summer!

Every child deserves the right to learn to swim and be comfortable in the water. Without this pool, many will not have that opportunity.

Because of its manageable size, this is only pool in NYC where I feel comfortable taking my own children AND their friends. I am always able to see all of the children at once and safety is number one for me. Please keep it open!

The pool is a real gem for young families. There is nothing like it and losing it would be a shame.

We need a pool in the community for our children. There's not enough pools accessible in Brooklyn during the hot summer months.

This pool is very family/friendly oriented and convenient. I just love it and I'm able to escape to a different environment. Very welcoming!
