i fully support gay rights, i don't know you personally but i used to go to providence and I'm very disapointed about the schools boards actions.

"Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. " Too many young people from this school end up feeling bad about themselves and the Lord. Where is the love Providence?

Does it seem wrong to anyone that the school had a major drug issue this year and those kids were not disciplined but a young man trying to honest and come out to others is treated this way? If a "Christian" school wants to show the love of Jesus to everyone they sure have a interesting way of showing it. I just wish the remaining students would be as brave as Bryce and come out to show that he is not alone. Bryce, we are proud of you and you should be welcomed back anytime.

What an amazing and mature young man to be open about himself and the way he was created by God! He is proud and not ashamed of who he is and I could not be more proud to call him my son!

As a former Providence Student and a LGTB supporter I am so proud of your bravery for coming out~ What Providence did was unethical and not Christ-like. Providence disappoints me once more :(

Bryce was one of the most influential members of our class. From SGA and honors society to simply getting involved, Bryce has always been a big part of what we do as members of the Christian faith at prov. He took such a huge and scary step in making friends and family aware of his orientation. But read the comments! This kid is getting all the love and respect he deserves, unless of course you're a member of the providence board. Providence has been his home for many years. He came to love many of his teachers and friends, and it's not right that he be kept from all of that based on his orientation. Teachers don't hate Bryce, parents don't think he's a bad influence, and the fact that a member of providence is gay is not going to bring bad press to the school. Christianity has taught that we should treat those around us as brothers and sisters in Christ, and the school should not be able to shun the one and love on the many. Show Bryce the love you have shown everyone else and that he is now receiving an abundance of outside of the providence environment.

Although what has happened to Bryce is disheartening and is discrimination, please lets only comment on the facts. I know Bryce's intentions are not to vilify, attack or hurt any individual! That is NOT who he is. To clarify the facts: (1) I "heard" The teacher mentioned "called" Bryce not because he/she agreed but because he/she loved Bryce and did not want anyone else to give him the new.; (2) Administration made the decision (Head Master, both principals); (3) I "heard" ONE teacher DID stand up and resigned, some faculty members and staff were appalled and (4) it is unsubstantiated this was a BOARD decision.

I am also gay. That a school, supposedly a place of nurture and growth, would do something like this to one of it's brightest students is abhorrent.
