Misty Hodges is the by far the greatest representation of grace. She has shaped my life in ways she will never know! This program gave me so much more than cheerleading. I’m forever in debt to the Louisville program for all it has taught me. I ask you please take this petition seriously! This program has deserved this for decades! It’s about time they get it!

If it weren’t for this program there wouldn’t be so many business owners. Not only in cheerleading but other types of businesses. Being apart of something that teaches you to be the best and accepting anything less than the best is unacceptable! The UofL program gives you a confidence like no other and a fight to excel at whatever you do!!! There are a countless amount of people that are national champions and graduates because this program exist. I’m truly blessed to have been apart of the traditions and excellence brought upon by being apart and want nothing more than other people to be able to feel the same thing. Not just the years I was there but as a whole we are a huge family and would do anything for one another!

As an alumni of the University of Louisville Cheer Program I not only understand what it means to be a part of this illustrious program steeped in a tradition of excellence, but I also understand the values learned through the program and the doors that can open to it’s athletes during and after college. This program along with James, Misty and Calen has changed the lives of hundreds of athletes and turned UofL into a nationwide destination for the best athletes in our sport. It has brought recognition to the school, support for it’s teams and the opportunity for these student-athletes to not only compete at the highest level, but to learn at a high level institution and put them on a career path to success. I cannot say enough about this program and what it has done for me and so many of my teammates and past Alumni.
