I do not want common core in our school system! I think this is making the teachers jobs more diffficult and making the students feel frustrated and stressed. How can anyone learn under these guide lines. I do not agree with the inappropriate things that are being taught or forced upon out kids.

I do not want common core in our school system! I don't think the federal government has the children's education in their best interest. I think this is making the teachers jobs more frustrating and making the students feel frustrated as well. I do not agree with some of the inappropriate things that are being taught as well.

It is crazy what the Common Core will be teaching our children.The world is already in bad enough shape but,to expose them to the x-rated material to read you might as well tell them it's okay to go out and be the person in the books that they have to read.GOD PLEASE HELP OUR COUNTRY.

Common core does not work on the fundamentals. Both kindergarten and first grader are very discouraged which causes more behavior problems and a total lack in excitement about education. Children who struggle fall even further behind with common core

Not everyone learns on the same level. Common core is leaving children behind because some take longer to learn and if you don't get it in the shirt time that they teach it the child falls behind

My child is extremely smart and now struggles with school. He's only in third grade. He is completely overloaded with homework and everything. Even I get confused on some of the stuff he has to learn and remember. I swear we didn't learn some of this until 5th grade. He's just so discouraged about school now. It's sad.

What ever happened school is fun with learning? Where did education go? Some of the greatest minds in the world came from our old system of education. Maybe we should look back a bit and quit trying to save money by shoving as much down our kids throats as we can in groups way to large for teachers to teach.

My son has always been on the A/B honor roll and loves school. He now struggles and is very confused as am I. If they truly want to help education they should have taken baby steps, not just leap into this the way they have. And who wrote this? How are non educators calling the shots on education?!
