Revoke Common Core and revoke the unconstitutional Department of Education.
Education is the responsibility of the several states and school districts and is not a function of the federal government. Revoke the DOE.

I'm tired of a one size fits all curriculum, that makes learning way more complicated and frustrating for students, parents, and teachers. Also, math should be the the simplest way to reach an answer...not endless different diagrams and methods just to add numbers.

Common core has been forced upon us as some invading unwelcomed virus. The federal government should not flex it's muscles and force this upon us. My daughter now in fourth grade has failing grades. All work must be shown as in draw out 76 boxes if that's the answer to a math problem, this, while being timed to do the test. I agree that each school or school district have the rights to educate under their own standard curriculum.

My name is Gidget Noel my daughter Chasity Noel works of my grandson in the afternoons with this homework his name is McKenzie Thibeaux and I help them do his math homework when I get off work.
I'm 49 years old and I really don't understand how kids that don't know they're timetables how can they do division with this common core math.
And every day he does his homework in every subject.
I wish they would take common core out of the schools in Louisiana Soon!!!!!!!!!
Because ig they would go back to the old way when we did our timetables in school.
When I grew up I think they would really learn a lot faster then using common core math.
