I have fished all my life, even commercially with my Father as a child, when the river would overflow we caught our largest catfish over the flooded levee pastures, now its illegal because in 92 people passed a bill that allowed these areas to be closed of to the public along as areas on the coast, I have had crabbers in leeville try to post some canals that have been open for years , which they cannot

Keep our navigable waters open to fishermen but respect the privately owned land itself. We need our kids to be able to enjoy the state's waters without worry that they are trespassing while in a boat.
