You want a canal to be posted and no one can access it then build a levee around it! Same thing goes for the marsh!

I believe that if a canal is accessible for public resources to traverse, then it should also be accessible for the public to use as well. If you want to have a private canal that the public can't use, then dam it off with a levee so that water, fish, and other animals (which are public resources) have no access to the area.

No one should be allowed to gate of a waterway that is accessible to the public. Esspecially if public money is used to stock and maintain the fishery.

We are supposed to be Louisiana (Sportsman's Paradise). Someone should start a tour guide to show all the posted canals. They claim they dug the canals and they are private. They did not dig them for no reason and profited well through the years with the public's resources.

The land belongs to the land owners, the water and its fish belong to the state. Those who trespass on your land are breaking the law, those who gate waterways and not allow access to state water and state fish are breaking the law.

Need to put a stop to it before our kids and grand kids will not enjoy a good fishing trip.

We all grew up in south louisiana fishing canals and marshes and it is ridiculous that people with money are trying to stop us because of their personal greed...
