Children need to play! Recess is not just a break from the important work, it IS important work! Children learn social skills, problem solving, how to use their imagination, in addition to giving them control of their minds & actions for that time. Let kids play!

I absolutely agree with one. My children have a music and art class but haven’t seen or touched the first instrument and may have brought home one or two art projects this year and that was at the very beginning on school. They each had one field trip. One that I was not invited as a parent to go on and the other was to see a movie that wasn’t exactly appropriate for Kindergarten.

I also think that kids should be having other classes like music art and some other athletic activities and lots and lots of field trips so they can see the world instead of being trap in a classroom all day . Think about it the lose like 15 to 20 years in a classroom and if you ask us the people that went thru all that o don't even remember what the teachers told me. I would love that my kids would learn thing that they will use in the future like take care of plants or activities that they would remember and use in their future . We are creating our future and it's not looking very good . Thanks this is just my opinion .
