The media and anybody who treated your daughter this way without knowing the facts should be ashamed of themselves.
More needs to be protect these families; so I fully support making this a law.

This is heartbreaking and needs to be prevented. I lost my niece Faith to SIDS in 2011 and my sister was taken into police custody straight from the hospital - away from her 2 young boys who’d just lost their sister and stripped of her belongings (including a pair of Faiths socks that she’d kept in her pocket). The investigation went on for what felt like forever and her treatment during this time was horrific. I truly hope better laws/processes are introduced to make what is already a devastating time that slight bit easier for grieving families.

My heart hurt when I read your story, as a mother and grandmother I can't imagine what your poor girl and your family have gone through. The gutter press definitely need reigning in, it's a disgusting way to treat people at their most vulnerable times.

It’s hard enough to lose a baby, the pain never goes away, and you can never fully move on from it. To then have someone write a newspaper article with no facts causing their readers to behave in such a disgusting manner towards parents/the family is absolutely appalling. They should be so ashamed of themselves.
