This petition is to support the reduction of loud noises coming from the construction site between Dryden Road and Oak Street in Ithaca, NY. Currently, large machines have been running 24/7, which have created unbearably loud noises that disrupt the quality of life for the people living in the surrounding areas. The goal of this petition is to eliminate all construction noises from 10pm-7:30am (the current condition of the construction site violates section 240-9 and 240-10 of the City of Ithaca Noise Ordinance). I am gathering documentation of the noise levels throughout the night to present to the city council. Send me a message if you have recordings or logs from specific hours. Email your local representatives today to demand they enforce the city noise ordinance.

the noise at 3am is ridiculous. stop working on these buildings in the middle of the night. people actually live here.
Living right next to this is a nightmare. I have to be up at 6am for work but barely get any sleep because of the banging all night long. Enough is enough.

FINALLY. Cant even hear my own tv over the drilling. hope they actually listen to us this time.
