I believe bringing our voices together as a group will enable increased visibility to the issues we care about deeply as well as the individual backgrounds and identities that define our class. In asking that you support my candidacy to serve as our SBA Class President I encourage participation in the election process and engagement with the subsequently elected representatives and body as a whole.

My main focus as SBA Class President would be to connect with opportunities for us to give back to our communities at school and where we live. Realizing the constraints of our virtual environments, I intend to pursue online avenues for advocacy such as fundraising and increasing general awareness. I will be committed to working together with other class reps from our year and above, school administrators, but also the larger student body. As a representative of this program I wish to include not only the diverse voices within our class but the broader academic communities in which we are privileged to participate. I believe championing our cause and the aspirations of other groups are not mutually exclusive.

If elected, a cornerstone of my work will be continuing to develop personal relationships within our class. I wish to elevate your voices, goals, and skills to new potentials. This is reliant on establishing and maintaining strong bonds with everyone as individuals. With that being said, I am available to discuss any points of interest or contention you may hold in the context of our academic pursuits or larger social/economic influences of the program.
