I’d like answers to to Ian Davis’s various questions. Clearly the FCA have failed in their duty to protect investors from a totally fraudulent company.

I am an LCF investor and I feel let down by the fact that the FCA were warned before HMRC gave LCF ISA Manager status.
I woukd never have invested had they shut them down earlier instead of later!

The FCA, HMRC and FSCS all knew LC&F were operating illegally and even at the height of their wrongdoing, all these organisations, whose job it is to protect the public from rogue investment companies, failed miserably and refuses to acknowledge their abysmal behaviours.

London Capital Finance from the very start was conceived as premeditated fraud !! The FCA failed to prevent this when it had every opportunity to do so. Below are several examples which I sent to them of what they failed to do..........shame on them!!!!!!!!!
Dear FCA,
(1) Could you please tell me what checks were in place & actually carried out on London Capital Finance plc after the warning from Neil Liversidge in November 2015 ?
(2) Also what checks were carried out on both the directors of LCAF & the Global Security Trustees Limited's director Robert Sedgwick of Buss Murton Law llp, prior to FCA approval on the 7th of June 2016 ?
(3) When did the FCA start investigating, before finally leading up to the announcement on the 10th of December 2018 when ordering LCAF to withdrew it's promotional material ?
(4) Once regulated, what compliance checks were carried out & what was their frequency ?
A few basic checks in Companies House soon reveal the following, all this was in the public domain at the time:-
LCAF director Andrew Thomson's connections with Robert Sedgwick become very obvious with a few minutes spent in Companies House.

In November 2015 LCAF's Martin Binks was also a director of Anglo wealth, with previous connections to fraudster Paul Seakens as a 25% shareholder in Vaeron Limited. This alone should have been a major cause for concern,as you already had a FCA warning on Anglo Wealth posted 20 months previously on 07-07-2014

Also in the company audited accounts 2015 dated 30th of April 2015 it states LCAF is "wholly reliant on one customer" Also the conflicts of interests by lending to Andrew Thomson, via his own companies are noted.

There is clear regulatory failure here so compensation should be paid and the criminals responsible convicted of fraud.

If we don’t get our money back the government will have to pay in other ways eg I will not have money for social care when I can’t look after myself!

It may take many years for the criminals behind this immense fraud to face justice; meanwhile innocent, ordinary people are facing hardship. The Government has to do step up to its responsibilities - not just in compensating those who've lost money, but also to ensure that such scams and frauds cannot continue.

What a scan of epic proportions. The Financial Conduct Authority should be ashamed of itself for allowing London Capital and Finance to continue to operate after it was warned ln 2015!
