This is unsustainable. This damages the environment. This circumvents the laws voted upon for protection. No one wants a 60 unit hotel there and I don’t want a 60 tent campground at Looking Glass Rock. Pack it in, Pack it out. No development for Glampers.

This will disturb a beatiful and natural habitat, and should not be allowed to move forward

This proposed development should be required to hold public meetings, provide full disclosure of total information, invite/seek community input and questions before proceeding further or advertising as if it is a done deed 9without public involvement.

Unlike most of you on this comments board, I actually love this idea and totally support it. There are many people who would never get to experience this incredible part of our country if it isn't for a development such as that planned by Under Canvas. It will allow elderly, who may not be able to camp in the wilderness at all, or people who may not be able to handle the elements due to various medical conditions, who would now be able to come and see this incredible land. By creating this development, you will also allow for additional tax revenue to come to the area, as well as tourists who will ultimately bring additional money and jobs and opportunities for the local community. Just because some of you can't afford to stay here, doesn't mean that other people who have worked hard and want to see this beautiful piece of nature with some degree of comfort should not be allowed to do so. To those of you against capitalism, it is actually capitalism that has made the creation of this website possible, and capitalism that allows you to have internet to access this website, and capitalism that allows you to have a job to pay for the electricity and devices to access this website. Ultimately, capitalism has been responsible for taking more people out of poverty throughout the last century than any other system in history anywhere in the world. Developments such as that planned by Under Canvas is what drives human progress forward, allows many people in our society to re-connect with nature, brings opportunities into areas where there are none, taking people out of poverty and away from drugs. I wish they would allow me to contribute to their project somehow to make it an even bigger success than I can imagine it will be.

As a pastor, I’m familiar with sacred spaces, those places that must be prioritized above the urge to make money. Looking Glass Arch is that kind of transcendent place. Please: no development there!

Natural beauty is not supposed to be for sale to rich, entitled children (regardless of their age.)

This is a highly discriminatory business model by making their resorts so ridiculously expensive that only their fellow super wealthy brethren will be able to afford the price of admission.

I don't agree with this development. This area should be left undeveloped.
