I live close to Looking Glass and I want to keep the quiet that we have out here. With a hotel put in, there will be no more peace and quiet and dark skies out here.

This is one of my favorite climbs in the Moab area. It would be such a shame if developers ruined this experience for so many climbers!

I'm concerend about the impact on the environment as well as the safety of the guests at this planned tent community. How will human waste and garbage be handled? What about safety of many hundreds of unskilled campers scrambling on these rocks?

This area is overrun by tourists who don’t respect the land, don’t take care of its delicate nature and its slowness to recover. I’ve been coming to the canyons and desert for over 17 years and it breaks my heart now to see the mobs of people trampling the soil, destroying this place with ATVs , mountain bikes and Jeeps. It’s unsustainable. “Glamping?” Maybe the city folks should just stay away. None of this is doing any good for this place, just destroying it to make a buck. A travesty and a crime.

This is delicate and remote. Not to mention the area is an archaeological treasure, a habitation and work area for ancient civilizations that passed very near this iconic structure. Please don't disturb the soul of Looking Glass Arch !

I was at looking glass yesterday for ther first time and it is such an amazing geological feature. It would base a down right shame to ruin that with a camping facility.
