Yes my son has a pack lunch and majority of the time he does not get time to eat his allowance and have play time, so there are times where he has no lunch so that he gets a playtime or he eats his lunch and there's no play time. I don't think that is fare on any child this has to be changed, so that they get enough time to eat and get their playtime. When I was going to school I had my lunch and got all of my playtime every single day.

Our daughter comes home starving too. School also needs to provide children with adequate portions.

My son in year 2 would love longer to eat his food and play. He says they don’t get very long any more - thoughts which are echoed by my daughter in year 4.

My son often comes home with food in his packed lunch. Would be happy to sign for the children to have a little more play

My child has also come home and complained about the length of time he has for lunch. Stating that he rushes his food in order to get some playtime. PE is not playtime, it’s a structured lesson that doesn’t allow for time to unwind. All children deserve adequate playtime at school.

I totally agree my son too come home with is good almost untouched because not enough time to eat. This is not right the children should learn but also are children and they need to be happy and eat their lunch, let the children be creative and free even at lunch time!!

Organised activity should be optional at lunchtime. There is no opportunity for free play.

My children always complain about the lack of time they have got to eat their lunch and always come back home starving so I think having more time like 30mins more is fair enough.
