Events at Marine Stadium are part of the history of Long Beach. Years of boating events have been part of so many families. Please do not toss away such great entertainment enjoyed by spectators and competitors. Long Beach Grand Prix is just as important as these boating events and share in the revenue brought to the city.

Us to race there four or five times a year back in the '60' and early 70's. Have spent thousands of dollars in Long Beach supporting the boat races and the first boat race I saw was at LB Marine Stadium at age 7 in 1950. Keep the tradition going for as long as there is a SCSC. It's good for the community and good for local business......

There’s no reason why this can’t be done with appropriate safety measures in place. People die in car accidents everyday but we don’t shut down streets and freeways.

Please keep our sport from becoming extinct. We have had a long history of implementing life saving inventions , changes to keep everyone safe. We will continue to always put safety first and foremost.
