"Elected" employees of Long Beach. Do not take the polite wording of this petition as weaknesses. You do not shut down a decades long event because of an unfortunate incident. Motor sports of any kind have the potential of mishaps and the participants and spectators know this and willingly participate. In short, remember who it is you work for.
