Circle boat racing in Long Beach is one of the coolest events of the year. It would be an enormous disappointment if it were canceled

Do not be on the wrong side of history by cancelling this 75 year tradition.

The boat races at Marine Stadium are an iconic event and a tradition that dates back generations. They need to stay!

The Grand Prix is a hundred times more dangerous not to mention walking down a beach or alley in Long Beach at night time. If the city won’t stop other dangerous activities or protect its citizens then the races should go on.

This is an outrage. this race has been going on forever and there isn't any good reason it can't continue.

As a resident of Long Beach, I look forward to brining my family down to Marine Stadium to see the races each year. To think that a hallmark of Long Beach aquatic culture has been denied by the city signals a change to the community that is unsettling and indicative of an ideology plaguing various levels of the governance of our community. Please reconsider granting the permit.
