Petition for Safe and Separate Pedestrian and Bicycle Accommodation on Lomita Drive The undersigned request Pilot Program funding to do a Study for the Design and Preliminary Engineering for safe and separate accommodation for school children and community residents with a path from the North South Greenway next to Edna Maguire School, all the way along Lomita Drive to Horse Hill. The Study would include looking at the possibility of a Class II path on the opposite side of Lomita Drive from the separated path. The Study would coordinate integrated improvements with the Edna Maguire School remodel and planned Safe Routes to Schools projects planned for Lomita Drive.
