If you have great and if you haven't even better cause that means that your going to learn about it now. But first before we go any farther let me tell you what me and my friends are going to do. We want or principle(Loganville middle school) to show the Kony2012 video school-wide, but who would listen to a couple of rambunctious 13 year olds. If you said no one than you are exactly right. But if students, teachers, staff, parent,anyone in the community all band together then we might just have a chance. So, we created a petition and want to get as many signatures as possible. We may just be kids, but if enough people stand behind us WE CAN BE HEARD. So if you live in Loganville or even just a member of Walton county you can help. And, just to show you how important this is and how serious I am, I will even tall you who I am. My name is Amani Edwards. I am 13, going on 14, and am an 8th grader at Loganville Middle School. Im in pod 804. I'm African-American, and my family is from Jamaica and Guyana. I believe in human- rights, freedom of speech and am fully ready to use that freedom. If I believe its a good enough cause I will fight till my body collapses from underneath me to achieve my goal. Ok. So, now that you know my purpose and a little bit about me I would like you to think about this. How would you feel if you(or your kids) were taken on the middle of the night. If your a girl you would be forced into being a sex slave. If your a boy you would be forced into military. You would be given a gun and forced to kill your parents. Even if you weren't abducted you would go to sleep in fear every night. Not a pleasant thought is it? Well guess what this is the life of millions of kids in Africa. You'd think the media would be all over this, right? WRONG. The thing is these children are invisible. Almost no one knows about it. So my friends and I, the founder of this program, and thousands of other are trying to spread the word. So, please help. Join the group. Donate money. Create petition for your own school or job. Even just mentioning it to some people will help. Lets make a difference in our world today. No matter how small anyone can change the world. I'm doing this because I want my children to grow up in a safer world. I want to protect OUR future. I want to improve the "today" we live in. So, no matter what, I WILL stand up for what I believe in, and I WILL protect not just the America we live in, but the WORLD we live in. That's me reason. So, what is yours.
