Citizens of Avondale and North Logan Square are advocating for a public dog park at the intersection of Belmont and Sawyer. The proposed lot is a vacant eyesore that collects litter. The space is unappealing as a children\'s lot due to it\'s proximity to the freeway but we believe the addition of a dog park would be a great boon to the community.

The scale of this response is compelling enough to move our proposal directly to the desk of the local alderman. We are currently drafting a formal brief to request an immediate feasibility study for the Belmont and Sawyer lot.

That lot is a total dump right now. Anything would be better than broken glass and trash everywhere.

Great idea. It makes way more sense than just letting it sit there and rot.

YES PLEASE. We have way too many dogs in this neighborhood and nowhere safe to let them run.

Finally some good news for the area. The freeway noise is bad for kids but my dog couldn't care less.

About time. Walking from Logan square to the nearest park is a trek. Put this to good use already.
